Three Things You Need To Know Now:

1. It’s a big week for jobs data. October job-openings numbers will be released on Tuesday, followed by initial jobless claims on Thursday, and the November Jobs Report on Friday, which is the Bureau of Labor Statistics deep dive into the employment picture. In the midst of all that, in a speech on Wednesday, Fed Chair Jerome Powell will address the labor market's strength and the Fed’s inflation outlook – perhaps giving some vague hint regarding the direction the central bank will take regarding interest rate cuts at its (next) December 18 meeting. The market is currently implying a 64% chance of a 25 basis point cut.
